1.1 Voluntary and Involuntary Migration

• Voluntary Migration: This type of migration is often driven by economic reasons, such as seeking employment or improving living conditions. For example, between 2010 and 2020, approximately 1.7 million French people chose to move abroad in search of better job opportunities.
